SwimShow Celebrated its First-Ever June Edition on Miami Beach

On June 1-3, we returned to the iconic Miami Beach Convention Center for Miami Swim Week with all new dates. The swimwear market in Miami officially shifted a month earlier, to June - and the buyer and press feedback was positively, in favor. As the first and most prestigious swimwear industry platform, SwimShow ecstatically celebrated the show season, with the majority of its 200+ exhibitors showing Spring and Resort 2025 collections.

In addition to presenting an array of new brands, SwimShow delivered an array of programming and strategic partnerships that captivated exhibitors, retailers and all of its industry attendees. Everyone who attended SwimShow, received a pass to the Summer Fashion Summit, in partnership with Paraiso Miami Swim Week. The Summer Fashion Summit brought together industry talks, panel discussions, trend seminars led by partner, WGSN and new platform, Trendalytics. Experts from the worlds of media, retail, consumer behavior and more - all brought their knowledge to share, right on the SwimShow floor.

Conversations from trends in social media to next season's collections, and also how the world’s most notable brands are shifting to a more sustainable future. On Beyond Green, a panel focused on sustainable fashion, Gottex CEO, Ron Grundland remarked “5 years ago we began to hear from several buyers that their customers want to see more sustainable initiatives, we immediately made changes from our suppliers, our development, hang tags, manufacturing and so much more. When we launched Gottex Au Naturale, we provided a solution to a fully sustainable line from Gottex and today - we’re proud to say all of our lines have implemented significant sustainability practices”. The partnership with Summer Fashion Summit provided both impactful insight and an opportunity for the industry to mix and mingle, discuss and explore.

The list of notable swim brands that have shown at SwimShow year-after-year, continues to grow as industry’s top-selling brands including Seafolly, Lauren Ralph Lauren, Bleu Rod Beattie, Miraclesuit, Banana Moon, Gottex, La Blanca, JETS Australia, Jantzen, InMocean Brands and dozens of others all presented next season’s collections - hitting stores in 2025.

Originating 40+ years ago as a collaboration of swim industry experts, SwimShow was founded with the noble purpose of uniting swimwear brands to foster growth within what is now internationally recognized as Miami Swim Week. Each year both, veteran swim brands and new-to-market designers, flock from all over the world to join the SwimShow roster. New brands to SwimShow this season included All that She Loves, Aegean Cat, Calypso St. Barth, Maison Marigold, Grace Elliot & Knight, L’Agence, Left on Friday, Walker & Wade and many others.

Menswear and childrenswear collections remain important swim categories with brands like BLUEMINT, Pier St. Barth, Sunset x Vine, Mr. Swim, Pepita & Me, Planet Sea, Shade Critters, Beaufort Bonnet Co, Sweet Penelope and Molo and many others.

As each year passes, SwimShow cements its position as a pioneering force in the industry, continually evolving and introducing exciting new partnerships to elevate the show floor experience. Judy Stein, Executive Director of SwimShow, affirms: "SwimShow is dedicated to representing all swim tiers and categories. Our platform has a proud history of collaborating with size-inclusive brands, trendsetters, and sustainability pioneers. By bringing together this diverse array of brands, SwimShow endeavors to unite the swim industry within a single, cohesive space. We’re so excited to have the Summer Fashion Summit on the SwimShow floor this season, bringing a wide array of programming to the show - offering our buyers and exhibitors the opportunity to sit down and join in on fantastic educational seminars".

SwimShow continues to take strides and bring together the swim industry at large by inspiring industry-only attendees and exhibitors through its partnerships with platforms, Summer Fashion Summit, WGSN, and an array of media partners that share the general sentiment of both highlighting new-to-market, emerging brands and veteran, established brands.

SwimShow recognizes the power of partnerships in driving success and growth. To that end, the event has forged strategic alliances with key players in the industry, fostering collaborations that extend beyond the confines of the trade show. These partnerships provide valuable opportunities for brands to expand their reach, access new markets, and forge connections that can propel their businesses to new heights.
